Events

For over twenty years, City in Focus has sponsored events in the City which encourage people to build bridges between their faith and their life in the city. Half of the people who attend these activities are not active in their faith. Many of them are open to issues of faith and trying to understand the relevance of the Christ in their own personal and professional lives.

Monthly breakfasts’ occur on the first Friday of every month with a break during the summer months. We have a wide range of speakers from the business, non for profit and government community that share openly about their life stories and their faith journey.

A Hot Buffet will be served at all Breakfasts.

November 7, 2008: Casey Wickham - Listening to God in Your Workplace

 Many times people in the marketplace quietly undervalue their role in God's Kingdom. How can you be a spiritual person in a secular career? Casey Wickham will answer this question out of his own experience of being a Christian and a business person for the last 25 years through the highs and lows of career and faith.
Casey Wickham is a senior executive with Upper Canada Forest Products - a multi national distributor of high value lumber and sheet-good products to the woodworking industry. He has been married 25 years and has three teenagers. Casey is a high energy communicator and presents in a practical, comprehensible manner!
